3.5-liter V-6 Engine
The 3.5-liter V-6 ensures that the front-wheel drive TL delivers on its aggressive appearance while providing a smooth, quiet ride. The 3.5-liter, VTEC® V-6 engine produces 280 horsepower and 254 lbs.-ft. of torque. EPA
Estimated Fuel Economy is 20 in the city, and 29 on the highway.

3.7-liter V-6 Engine
The TL features Acura's largest engine, which offers a remarkable combination of power, efficiency and refinement. The 3.7-liter VTEC® V-6 dishes up 305 horsepower and 273 lbs.-ft. of torque. EPA Estimated Fuel Economy is 18 city, and 26 highway with the automatic transmission.

VTEC
Both available engines feature Variable Valve Timing and Electronic Lift Control (VTEC) which increases high-rpm horsepower through enhanced airflow by opening the intake valves deeper and longer when the engine speed reaches a designated rpm. All-aluminum construction, a hollow camshaft, and other weight-saving measures keep the engine lighter for better handling.

Rearview Camera
When "Reverse" is engaged on a TL with the Technology Package, the large 8-inch navigation screen will display a view of the space directly behind the vehicle below the driver's normal field of vision.

Blind Spot Information System
The TL can be equipped with a blind spot information system that assists you when making lane changes. If the system detects a vehicle in an adjacent lane in the TL's "alert zone" (approximately from the rear half of the TL to half a car-length back), an indicator will appear on that side's windshield pillar.

Front Seats
The beautiful leather surfaces of the TL's front seats have you enveloped in comfort from the instant you slide in, through the duration of your journey. Both front seats offer two levels of heating. With the Advance Package, the front seats can cool as well as heat by venting air through the perforations in the leather, allowing you to reach your desired comfort level more quickly. The driver will easily find the perfect position with a 10-way power driver's seat (8-way power positioning, plus power lumbar support).

Automatic Climate Control
The TL dual-zone, dual-mode automatic climate control system allows the driver and front passenger to create their own microclimates. Set your desired temperature and airflow distribution however you like, and your front passenger can do the same.

GPS-linked Temperature Control
On models equipped with the Technology Package, the automatic climate control system can further enhance occupants' comfort level by tracking the sun's position and intensity. The GPS10 positioning technology monitors the sun's location relative to the car's position, while a sensor on the dash measures the sun's intensity. Knowing the sun's position and strength enables the system to more effectively keep each side of the cabin at its designated temperature. The system is completely automatic and requires no manual adjustments, regardless of outside conditions.

Bluetooth HandsFreeLink
The Bluetooth® HandsFreeLink® system works with many Bluetooth-enabled cell phones to let you receive and initiate phone calls through the TL audio system without ever taking your hands off the wheel.

Keyless Start
The Keyless Access System with push button ignition allows you to walk up to the TL, unlock the doors, have the car set your preferences, and start the engine without ever having to take the key out of your pocket.

Acura/ELS Surround Sound System
Grammy® Award-winning recording engineer and producer Elliot Scheiner helped design the Acura/ELS Surround® Premium 10-speaker Sound System to reproduce music the way it's heard in the recording studio. The system can play 5.1 surround sound DVD-A discs, the highest-fidelity sound medium available. Surround sound can also be extracted from any stereo digital source, thanks to Dolby® Pro Logic® II circuitry. In addition to all the source inputs of the standard TL audio system, features of the Acura/ELS system include: 15GB hard disk drive media storage, Bluetooth® Audio system to play songs wirelessly from a compatible cell phone while song data can appear on the navigation screen, 440-watt amplifier with digital 96 kHz sampling for crystal-clear sound, and almost all functions can be performed by Voice Recognition.
